When was the last time you flew solo style to do something? What about going out alone after a breakup

Are you ready for today’s challenge?

Push what comfort looks like.

Go do something alone.  I don’t mean the grocery store or get the car washed. I mean like really do something alone. 

This is an assignment that I give clients and normally suggest a movie. 

Here’s why a movie is fairly easy to do… it plays, you watch, you leave. There is no talking during so it’s the perfect dip your toes into doing things alone. 

Go see that movie you have been dying to see. 

If a movie is too easy and you want a bigger challenge go out and eat somewhere alone.  Don’t hide yourself scanning insta or twitter while you’re out eating the whole time. Experience the meal. 

What did you learn? How did it feel? Did you notice what your body felt like inside?  On a scale from 1-10 how bad was it? (10 being chop off my arm before doing it again)  The more you do it, the more comfortable you will get with it.

If the answer was 7 or higher, do it again. =)

Do you always need to have people around you? Friends are great, but being able to go out alone after a breakup can give you a whole lo of freedom.
