BAM! She Did it!
So I’ve been working with a lady for a couple months and today she did it. She finally had that complete break through we both have been waiting for. We have been on the edge of the cliff for the last couple weeks dabbling in her taking her life back and running with it. She fought it back a couple times, but today she is there. She is standing in the give Zero Fks Zone and waving the flag. We had lots of tears during this process…but today; we shared tears of complete joy and pride in where she is as a strong bad ass woman.
Here’s the deal, it takes time to think in a new way. It takes patience, drive, spirit, and a whole lot of honesty with youself to move down a new path. Once this has been chosen, it is truly life changing. It was for me, and she’s now opened her next chapter in her life ready to take on the world.
Sometimes in life when it gets hard. We decide it’s time to make changes but don’t know where to start, or flat out don’t like how things are going and know there has to be something better for us. Sometimes we need a cheerleader, someone to stand in our corner to love us or tough love us. Someone to give us permission to go against the grain, or ask the great question of why do you care what society thinks and who is society really? Over and over until it clicks and you’re ready to embrace that inner badass champion.
I’m honored and proud that she picked me to go on this amazing journey with her that will no doubt change her entire life. Her texts are different from a couple weeks ago, she talks different, and her energy is beyond different from even a couple days ago. Situations change and she’s managing them like a rock star. She called me today and I didn’t coach her once. She needed someone to listen to how she navigated her life. She blew me away today.
Today is why I do what I do. Today is that pot of gold. Today is when I get to say HOLY COW I helped do that. Today I get to say, this is beyond worth every bit of the pain, stress, tears, meltdowns I’ve had since I left my job almost a year ago to start my business. I get to change lives every single day. I get to help empower crazy strong women to follow dreams. I get to be in someone’s corner like they are in the Prize Fight of the year on Pay Per View and they are…they are fighting for their best life possible!
